Financial Analyst / Case Design

Gregory Ricks & Associates, Inc. - Metairie Office

We are seeking a team member to join our growing, client-focused, high-touch financial services firm in our Metairie office. Our ideal candidate will possess a strong willingness to help others with an exceptional attitude, a nurturing and outgoing personality, and a professional image. Also, must have outstanding communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.

Objective

The Financial Analyst’s responsibility is to provide a cohesive illustration of the proposed plan as designated by the Advisor in accordance with Client specific needs/goals. The Client’s needs/goals are at the forefront of this position’s responsibilities, as it is important to accurately capture information regarding the Client’s current state and future goals concerning their financial picture. This role is essential to the interim steps leading from a Prospect’s Discovery Visit to Client Implementation.

Job Duties

DAILY TASKS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Prioritize daily tasks and issues related to case design and retirement planning
  • Operate with a proactive approach to advisors, service, clients, and prospects
  • Complete internal/external servicing requests with regards to case design
  • Maintain CRM and update database with all applicable notes/steps related to case design
  • Generate and provide financial reports to Advisors from statements, tax forms, social security, and pension docs
  • Assist with the development of client case design
  • Assist Advisors with pre-appointment preparation by gathering account values and completing review summary
  • Scan and archive all notes/data/documents from prospect/client visits
  • Assist with client acquisition and retention events

Minimum Requirements 

  • An exceptional attitude, a nurturing and outgoing personality, and a professional image
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Management
  • Insurance licensing strongly preferred and Series 65 (preferred)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 

  • Prior experience working in the financial industry
